Spiritual guide of Hikuri · the sacred heart of the desert

A traditional healer from the Wixárika people of the Sierra of Jalisco, Mexico, Cristina has dedicated her life to preserving and sharing the ancestral teachings of her lineage through traditional Hikuri ceremonies, women’s ceremonies, and mixed ceremonial gatherings alongside her partner and fellow ceremonial guide.

Through sacred chants and prayers in her native language, pilgrimages to sacred sites, individual healings, energetic crystallizations, and womb healing work, she carries a medicine rooted in prayer, connection with the elements, and deep reverence for Mother Earth.

Marakame Juan Carrillo

Spiritual Guide and Ceremonial Keeper of the Wixárika Tradition

Juan Carrillo is a traditional Marakame from the Wixárika community of the Sierra of Jalisco, Mexico. He dedicates his life to preserving the ancestral traditions of his people through Hikuri ceremonies, sacred chants, prayers, pilgrimages, and offerings to the sacred sites of his lineage.

As a ceremonial singer and guardian of traditional knowledge, he carries the prayers of his ancestors through his native language, honoring the mountains, the elements, and the spiritual forces of nature. He is also devoted to cultivating traditional tobacco, preparing ceremonial offerings, and fulfilling sacred responsibilities within his community.

Alongside his ceremonial work, he offers individual healings, energetic cleansings, and crystallization practices rooted in the wisdom of the Wixárika tradition.

Through prayer, service, and devotion to the sacred ways of his people, Juan continues to carry and share a living ancestral path for future generations.
